I am seeking some advice.

I have an effect that uses standard Bicycle Playing Cards with stickers on the backs of the four Aces.

There are two small areas on the image of the Club on the center of the face of the Ace of Clubs Card where the black ink has worn off.

I would like to fill in those spots without the “touch up” job being noticeable to a spectator while I am performing the effect.

My thought was that if I fill in the two spots with a graphite pencil, the filled in areas might shine in the light.

The card of which I am speaking is one that is switched out at the end of the effect for a duplicate Ace of Clubs that I use for the majority of the effect.

Hence the concern with the “touch up” job restoring the card to its original look. Both cards should look the same.

If this is not a possibility I can simply affix a replacement sticker on the back of another Ace of Clubs Card and replace this Card altogether.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I think replacing the card with a fresh one is the way to go...but that's just me.

Please know that I used a black Sharpie as suggested by ejohn and it worked just fine. Thank you, ejohn!
