I just booked a strolling gig believe it or not at a hospital.
This particular department is having a poker theme meeting (whatever that means) to boost moral and having some give-aways for the employees to coincide with an informational program. They thought I would be a good distraction and fit it with their theme. Hope this is a sign of future times.

Best wishes - curious if they expect you to have a mask on?

Update. Performed this afternoon in the hospital. Upon entering, my temperature was taken, was asked a few health questions and issued a mask. The performance was for IT staff and held in a private room. There were approx. 20 people / 10 tables, 2 people per table spaced 6ft. apart. It went very well and performed more stand-up material than table to table which is what they suggested I do.. They only needed me for about 45 minutes during dinner/ buffet, then they went on with their meeting.

Boy was it nice to be back at it after almost 4 months. Funny how you forget routines, so It did take me some time to refresh before today. There are opportunities out there just allot harder to find.

Thanks for the good news. It is also pleasing to hear of the very thorough planning by the organizers.

Thanks.....
I just missed a show booking for last Friday because I didn't check my dedicated "magic" cell phone.
No phone calls so I stopped checking on a regular basis. Someone left a message...too late Smile
I keep in touch with the restaurants, but with limited seating they can't justify me.
I hope not: out of sight out of mind.
Nice to hear from you Shooz.

The light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train.
One of the last living 10-in-one performers. I wanted to be in show business the worst way, and that was it.

Don't drink the media kool-aid. There is another side to the main-steam media one-way train.
That one has no-lights and that's want they want. I just heard a conversation with 2 medical doctor experts in the field with a much different analysis than what we sheep are being fed.
Watch what you eat.

What did they have to say and is it still relevant now?

Dave,
Just watched this video at work the other day. Ivermectin seems to be a product that is working.
Also found another Doctor saying that there is not enough data yet? But the comments below his video were full of people who had been helped or knew someone who had recovered thanks to Ivermectin. Why are we not putting more towards the study of this product. Possibly held back by Big Pharma? Don't know.
It's a scary time in our lives not knowing who is working on your behalf, or against it.
Best thing is to educate yourself as best you can.
Anyway, I hope you and yours are well.

Doesn't surprise me.

Don't even need Ivermectin. I take a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda (Not baking powder) dissolved in a tall glass of water every day to prevent COVID, colds, flu migraines and promote other benefits. Those who are ill-  I would take it every four hours until all symptoms are gone. It's a miracle for health that has been forgotten from decades past and it truly works wonders. I along with others have been having years of success with it for colds, flu, migraines, food poisoning, cancer and this year with COVID.
Baking soda also contributes to more oxygen getting to cells which in turn fights disease. Athletes will use it before working out or for performance increase. The same benefit that it has for athletes also contributes to those who are ill.

How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

I just received a call from one of the restaurants I previously performed in. They wanted to know if I was available to come back. Booked two strolling gigs yesterday. Now if I can get the other 3 restaurants on board I'll be back to pre-pandemic. The light at the end of tunnel is getting a little brighter.
A year and 3 months not performing. Time to rehearse.
