These set of peeks are so good. Bill has another hit on his hands. They seem so fair in that the spectator can replace their written information in their hands and mix it up and yet the mentalist can still get all the information needed. Bill goes over lots of handling variations so you are bound to find something that works for you. If you are looking for a clean and fair full billet peek Elvis is in the building!

Okay, so after watching this thread for what felt like 6 years (pandemic has impacted my ability to keep track of time), now that it's finally available, I sent Stunninger all that was left in my wallet and have watched the various videos for the Elvis peek in all its varieties.
My review: I like it, though I'll likely use it differently. Like Stunninger I've spent years collecting peek wallets and non-wallet peeks (I skipped over the center tear phase he went through as I've always disliked them). A variation on this peek method will almost certainly go into my repertoire. As others have noted, it's using some well known principles, but put together cleverly, allowing for such a clear peek, and one that is easy to do and fooling. I don't personally like the specific presentation that Stunninger has created for it, not because it's bad, but because it doesn't really fit my style. And even though his presentation is somewhat core to making the Elvis Peek work, it's not at all difficult to tweak his idea to come up with a different presentation that accomplishes the same basic thing. It's also making me think about ways it could be combined with my other favorite peeks to create even more layers of obfuscation. Kudos. |

Several people have written to me, sharing how The Elvis Peeks inspired them to come up with their own modified version that fits them just right. I am delighted to hear this. After watching the videos, a fellow mind reader wrote me asking if ‘Reverse Skinny Elvis’ could be done. This got me thinking, and I came up with at least three different possible handlings.
I love all of the creative possibilities some of you have come up with! |
