Looks interesting. Any opinions?
The most incredible stage prediction you can perform, alone. David Gatti's Solo Prediction was perfected over hundreds shows and now it can be yours. No electronics No help of offstage assistants Prediction always in full view You NEVER touch the envelope Massive Prediction stage size Effect: A Microphone Stand is holding in full view an envelope. The audience can see the prediction at all times. A spectator selected randomly is asked to name the name of a City they would like to travel to, the performer writes the answer down on a Clipboard for verification later on. Another spectator is asked to call out his favorite food, again it is written down on the clipboard. This can be repeated up to SIX times. The envelope is shown and opened, the prediction is pulled out the envelope and the magician of spectator reads the prediction which matches PERFECTLY what the audience chose. IMPORTANT: You NEVER touch the Envelope with the Prediction. The Prediction is BIG, so much so that your audience can read it clearly. It contains up to 6 elements/topics. Comes complete with all gimmicks needed, professionally made to last you forever. SOLO PREDICTION is part of David Gatti's Pro Line Series, now you can perform this miracle in YOUR SHOW. |

"massive prediction" - yeah right... To me that's almost regular A4 size... Bill Abbott's NoBrainer is a massive prediction that you can do solo. Why is this any better? Because it can take 6 reveals? Or because you never touch the envelope? If it's so good, there should be a full performance/show the part where the envelope isn't touched when the reveal happens. Otherwise, I don't understand why someone would choose this over NoBrainer.

I wasn't impressed with the smallish size of the paper either...I'm not saying that 'Solo Prediction' is necessary bad, but I'm also not willing to plunk down $199.00 without seeing how the load is managed. The written prediction details are quite obvious when you see how the paper is folded and where the info is written, but at the end of the day Confabulation effects are mostly judged by how invisible the load is...Similar to the card in box plot for close-up magic. I perform Bill Abbott's NoBrainer regularly and IMO it's the best version of this plot to date. It would be advisable for David to re-shoot his video if he wants to generate more sales activity. A 40-second video clip of him giving away the prediction to an audience member is not enough for most people to make an informed decision.

The demo video is about as helpful to performers as watching a car ad where the vehicle is only seen driving into someone's garage, the garage door closing, and the neighbours clapping.

Another minus: The writing on the prediction is thin and probably can't be seen past the first few rows -- thus the video projection.
No Brainer's prediction is written in big bold red letters and can be seen from a substantial distance. |

The writing part looks obvious to me as a magician, but I acknowledge it probably wouldn't be to spectators. It's the part where "you never touch the envelope" that has me intrigued. Is that true, or is that just what the spectator remembers? Does it just mean I look like I'm touching it but I'm not really touching it, which is kind of a reverse technicality for the ad? How is an accordion-folded piece of paper justified in terms of a different-shaped envelope? I agree that a full performance is necessary to judge what I'd get for $199, but I definitely want to like it.

"You never touch the envelope" except at the end to get the prediction out.

Sweet demo. So it's $199 to learn how to unfold a piece of paper and hand it to someone?

Hello everybody!
Thank you for you interest in Solo Prediction. Here to answer some of your doubts: • The paper used in the performance and promo is 11x14 inches, but you can use a slightly bigger size if you wish, it just will need to be custom cut to your needs. In my experience this size is big enough for the first 4-5 rows to read without the use of camera to confirm you are not making it up. I always used cameras because I had the opportunity and a large audience in front of me. • The marker can be thicker if you wish, to have a bolder look. • As most of you said, the key is the load. I purchased so many effects in the past and I wasn’t happy with the load or with the size of the prediction…or the quantity of elements you could write. I was able to squeeze 6 different predictions, in 6 different spots. Not a single square. The load is INVISIBLE and you never touch the envelope. It is obvious that in a way or another you will have to get closer to the envelope…but the gimmicks I developed and the misdirection allow you to do the dirty job in full view. • No forced elements. I use this effect in my show for years, I guarantee it’s a winner. I’m here if you need more clarification. Please remember, I can’t give away too much, otherwise it wouldn’t be fair with those who decide to invest $199.00 in this, I consider, be an amazing Prediction. |

Hello David, would you be willing to put out a better demo? I think that would help people on the fence with this.
Thanks! RNK

Yes, a better demo would be great (could even PM me if you'd like, I'd very much appreciate that). I'd consider this if the load is incredibly clean. I just found it funny that it says "massive" prediction but really it's not. The size I saw in the demo works for me, just a weird choice of words.
How are the angles? |

David,
Two questions: Does the effect include whatever is needed to accomplish the D***** W******? When you write down each of the spec's answers, can you display that list to the audience?

Is there a way to write the answers so that the answers are in different parts of the paper and not completely vertical?
Looks very good. Thank you. Michael
