Sorry, I did not see this sooner. I maintain it privately. It has close to 18,000 sales recorded in it, most from the last 18 months.

That's awesome. I know I've bought a book or two through you on Facebook. My own personal database has about 18 books in it, haha.

Keep in mind mine is sales data for magic books, not my personal collection--which is closer to 2,500 volumes.

I just want an invite to Richard's dinner party of dead and alive friends and people he has known of past and present. Now that would be the event of a lifetime.

Thanks for all your kind words.

I've been doing this for 45 years, so that's why there are lots of books.

A half dozen of my best books will get reprinted this year (2021). I've been waiting until my new website goes live.

I prefer to spend my time writing about the works of others--it's simply more interesting to me. In the course of that, I've been lucky to become extremely close friends with some of the best close-up magicians in the world. Unfortunately the majority of them are dead, which wears on you after a while.

At the moment, even though Larry Jennings has been dead for 23 years, I spend a lot of time with him listening to the 90 audio cassettes he sent to me, and watching the 18 hour of video of him that I shot. This is for the books of his work I'm writing.

While "Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy" is finished, and we are waiting for the copies on the boat from China, during the pandemic I have written 500 pages of the next Jennings book, "Mr. Jennings Takes it Tough."

And I've just turned away from Jennings for a few months to edit a new book on Jean-Pierre Vallarino which John Lovick has written for me. That should come out, with a DVD demonstrating all the tricks, next summer.

It's good to keep busy, particularly as you get older. Smile

Thanks again.

I'm very interested in the Vallarino book. I've always loved his beautiful presentations. If you're able to tease any more details about that one, I'd love to hear more.
