I am looking to get hold of the largest set of handcuffs possible.
There is an old Houdini idea that was taught in a U.F. Grant book. The idea was that if Houdini had a pair of handcuffs he could not escape from - he would have those handcuffs uses around his forearms. And then he would use handcuffs he COULD escape from around his wrists. That way once he escaped from the first set of handcuffs - he could slide the seconds set off without any effort. I want to demonstrate this piece of lateral thinking in my magic act. Does anyone have any recommendations for large handcuffs that would allow me to demonstrate this piece of ingenuity? |

Dave Miles used to use chain ankle restraints on his arms above the elbows and multiple cuffs all down his forearms. When he was fully loaded he looked the biz.

Several modern handcuff manufacturers make a "Over-Size" (extra large) handcuff for those with large wrists.
They are literally a pair of leg-iron cuffs...attached to a small 2-link chain. That is what you need. |

Quite right about the legiron size cuffs. In addition, check out the Clejuso #15.
