Y’know, it doesn’t always take a full routine to pull off some good magic. I remember putting out a few “Quicky-Trickys” over the years, just effects you can do in an instant or two, or even string together with other things. I happened back upon one of them recently and it still made me smile after all this time, still some powerful stuff… Hoping it still does the same for you.

Well, summer is over and on we go.

I got to do quite a bit of coin magic this year and probably did coins across more than anything else. It just brings together all of what good coin magic is all about IMHO. There are quite a few good ones out there, not to mention that it’s also one of the very best coin tricks to create from. I have come up with a few on my journey, but perhaps the one that really took hold was one I learned long ago from Michael Ammar. It was an easy one but provided the building blocks and connective tissue to everything else I would come to do with it. I jazzed it up along the way to make it even more magical and it has just stuck with me which has made it something I can just do anytime, anywhere on the spot without even thinking about it. And it amazes people to no end. Most times, you don’t even have to do much else, which typically leads me into saying now, “Does anyone want to see a card trick?” I know, I know…blasphemy!

Anyway, I still think this is one of the very best coins across ever devised, and it happens to be done by one of the very best coin men ever devised as well…

Agree 100%
