Christopher Taylor is back!

I’ve received his latest release SIGMA today.

Why am I writing already?
Well - this product is stunningly good and very powerful.
I’ve bought it as a member of his FB group, pre-ordered it last week and paid the full price.

SIGMA is a magnet repelling device that fit inside a box of cards.
It has nearly the dimensions of a playing card box.
But it can be used in a multitude of ways.
You can also put it inside a wooden box (or beneath it).
It works also under a table (a thinner one is obviously preferred).

You get a nice package with the SIGMA unit:
- a remote (can be operated by a button press and optionally by a magnet)
- two (!) rechargeable batteries
- a LiPo-charger
- some nicely assorted magnets
- For instructions you will receive a online link and password

One battery charge should last for at least 3-4 hours.
But you wouldn’t want to overuse its possible effects anyways.
Like Christopher points out in the tutorial: “less is more”.

The power it provides is simply amazing.
When you test it for the first time you need to be aware of NOT having windows, your TV or anything fragile near it.
Of course you wouldn’t want your head near it!
A good magnetic coin (like a Half-Dollar by Kreis Magic) shoots off like a rocket!
This creates some funny moments in the tutorial!

The design of the product is practical and functional.
It has a beautiful hidden magnetic switch.
The rechargeable batteries can be easily changed and they doesn’t need to be connected permanently to the device.
This is a important point for me when it comes to storing a electronic device.

For the online tutorial you will receive a link and password with your unit.
Like already mentioned, the tutorial bears some comedy moments (the device can be SO strong), it is of good production value and fun to watch.

I want to point out how unbelievably versatile this device is:
- You can open and close book pages
- You can knock over objects (for example empty cups)
- You can make coins jump (high)
- You can make noises inside a closed container
- You can perform some kind of haunted deck
Again it’s a T.I. product that is limited by your imagination, seriously!

I can’t say anything about durability at the moment and hope the technical parts inside are of long lasting nature.

I really like it!

Thank you Christopher and Derek

10/10 points

Just a small but important warning to maintain the fun.
When you experiment with it, be aware of windows, TV’s and fragile furniture (most importantly your spectators) around you!
Used with a strong magnet (for example a Super Strong Kreis) the power is EXCEPTIONAL.
I think it doesn’t even make sense to use it with such a strong coin in the open.

On the other hand.... using a Super Strong Kuepper Morgan might be interesting. I'll let you know.

Here is SIGMA H2O, a NEW VERSION of Sigma: it is self-contained in a cool wood stand. This is absolutely my new favorite PK effect. See why here: https://youtu.be/ZGCVnUBr30c

I never had luck with things from Taylor. I like his ideas but I have three items in the last years that never worked to 100%. Sorry to say that but its the truth. And a little bit overpriced for so much plastic and hot glue and fragile Electronic.

Puzzlemaker -- hard to imagine your situation. ALL of his things have worked great for me! I just can't fathom how things didn't work perfectly. Not overpriced either. The ideas, the testing, the routines, the manufacturing, the shipping, the service..., etc.. I think for what you get, they are very fairly priced.

I fully concur. I have many of Christopher's items-both electronic and non-electronic-and they all have been great and operate without any problems. If I did have a questions, Christopher always provided a prompt response and first class customer service.

I too have purchased from Taylor Imagineering.
While I can’t speak on Sigma, the quality of the products such as spectral wind and geist are A+++, unmatched as far as what you get for what you pay for.

I have nothing against Christopher, but I've bought one item from him and it came in broken. His response was to use some glue to fix it. I haven't bought anything from him since, nor have I ever fixed it, although I think some of his stuff looks brilliant!

The stronger the magnetic, the stronger the reaction to the pulse; it jumps higher.

I know, please see my comment/warning above. Smile
I would like to know the difference between a super strong Kreis and a super strong Morgan by Kueppers.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I have tested both “super strong” coins and find them virtually identical in strength.
