Hello all.
I recently joined this fine forum and thought I'd post the traditional few words of introduction. My history with magic is a little strange. I studied it intensely as a kid, and was doing professional shows in my early teens. Then all at once I just gave it up, and hardly did so much as a French Drop for about 15 years, during which time I forgot virtually everything I had learned about it. Then just within the past year I got back into it, and am now fairly thoroughly hooked again. My chops aren't what they were when I was fifteen, and I have no intention of trying to go pro again (I'm now a professional pianist, and ONE thoroughly unstable career is enough for me), but it's great to be practicing again. This seems like a very friendly place, and I look forward to getting to know the people here. Before writing this I had posted a question in the cards section. Our esteemed moderator suggested I might have better luck getting responses once I introduced myself, so just for the heck of it I'll include the question here. I'm working on Paul Harris' Ultimate Ripoff T&R Card, and I can't for the life of me come up with a good way to hide the visual discrepancies when tearing off the second corner. If anyone has tips, please post them in the cards section (or send them privately if they give too much away). Thanks. Quinn

Wow, thanks everyone. It's great to be made to feel so welcome, especially after just a day, and especially with such a wide variety of little animated things.
