Which one of those three has the best material. Thanks

Volume one is geared towards beginners much more than 5 & 6, however, there are many who might like the material on one more than the other volumes. It is very subjective to say the least. I know that this response does not really help you, but let me say this. If you read the contents of volume one and you do not recogonize the tricks, then by means, this is the correct volume for you!

If you don't know about "Triumph" and "Cannibal Cards", I will recommend volume one.

Yes I have a version of otriumph I do already, I was thinking abotu getting one beacause of Red Hot Mama, CAnnibal Cards, and LAs Vegas Leaper even though I already own AOA book volume 3 but I want to learn the original Las Vegas Leaper. So knowing this sould I get volume 4 5 ort 6 instead, I am leaning towards 5, could anyone explain the effect paramount? And Some suggetstions have been for 4 because of JC SUper Closer and Larry Jennings Ambitious Classics, could anyone explain these effects for me? thanks
I already ordered volume 1, so other than that now which one should I purchase? thanks. |

In the end I like volume 5 more than volume 4. I was blown away the first time I saw "Virginia City shuffle". It is an amazing routine and well worth learning. Perfect use of a simple card principle.
Dai Vernon's "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" is a stunning trick. To the audience the tricks seems impossible to pull off without having some kind of crazy abilities. Volume 5 also has a nice simple torn and restored card from JC Wagner, and with "Card on Ceiling", this is a hard volume to beat. Paramount is not a trick that I use. Many people like Wagner's "Super Closer". Packets are cut and shuffled by the spec and the magician, then the aces are produced. More shuffling and the cards are laid into 4 packets on top of the aces and then gathered up and squared. Now you spell "ace of diamond" laying the cards in a row as you spell and its the card. You spell out all the aces correctly with the cards and reveal them leaving 4 rows with facedown cards and the aces face up at the end. You are left with 4 cards in your hand and they are the kings. You use these to spell out the kings if this makes any sense. The rows under each ace are turned over and shown to be suited! This is how I remember the routine. It is kinda long, and I personally don't care for it too much. Many people do like it a great deal however. If I didn't describe something correctly or clearly then please correct me.

If you don't already have volume 2, get volume 2 first. It is rated by many people as the best in the series.
as for the rest, just get them... you get a better price if you buy a whole set. the materials on all are superb: excellent tricks with super clear teaching and explanation.

Haven't seen 7 but 5 is great especially for Virginia City Shuffle, OOS OOM and Henry Christ's Fabulous 4 Ace Trick.

I would get them all and if cost is a factor you can pick them up on ebay in video format for cheap. I know that is how I collected them as I have yet to invest in DVD technology. They'll drag me to DVD kicking and screaming. New technology is just a conspiracy to take more of my money aaaarrrr!

Just got volume 5. Paramount is AMAZING!!! This is probably the best trick I've ever seen and hoep to try it out in the near future.
I have volumes 1-5, my order would have to go: 5 (best) 2 1 3 4 (worst) But still, it is worth getting all of them. Dr. Jacob Daley's Gambler vs Magician on Volume 4 is a very nice effect also! -Niko
