Hi Mark,
Not sure if my headphones are faulty but it was incredibly hard to heard what you were actually saying during that advert. I have the Propdog glass but this intrigues me as it's actual glass. Thanks |

Very clever. Follow up with the floating glass, whilst pouring a drink (can’t remember the effect name)

I've dropped to many glasses in my time to use a real glass.
My PropDog one looks like glass and has never been questioned and it still looks brand new. |

I have performed the Hydrostatic Glass for over 40 years. It is fun effect to perform. They were never available in regular drinking glasses, always to small. So I had to make my own.
Don't care for what you provide, that Tupperware container is the wrong container for the water. The late Alan Shaxon used a bucket, I found a pitcher a better choice. Your causing the card to fall of on it own, is something new and different. |

You receive everything including a container to perform with and to protect your glass in transit, of course you can substitute any container that works for you. For the price of others which just supply a glass (with no routine etc) that often doesn't look like a "normal" glass, we supply the glass, gimmick, container and even a couple of cards so you can do it right away. For my routine I like to use the clear container, but use something else if that works for you. I have seen others using buckets and pitchers and they were far too big for me moving from show to show in the same day, I wanted something small and compact. I also like the container to be clear, it seems so much more innocent as it appears nothing can be hidden inside. At the end of the day we are discussing differing ways to do / present the same effect which I think we agree is a classic and very entraining. Someone who has never performed Hydrostatic Glass before receives everything they need in the set to perform and protect your glass which is not the case with others we are aware of. To answer the reply above about plastic glasses I feel the use of a real glass is a big plus, having performed this effect 1000's of times my glass still looks new. A glass can also be hit with a fork etc and being very audible will gain peoples attention. This is a true classic of magic and I hope people take my ideas and build upon them.

I like this version but don't like the price for what the effect is. Just my opinion. If I had the extra money laying around I might decide to pick it up.
