As you video yourself, please keep some of the recordings for later. In these digital ages one tends to get harddisk full and then delete too much. When you watch yourself a year or ten later it is FUN and you still learn a lot.

Also remember that lighting is a very important issue when you shoot your videos...
shining a light directly at your hands might cause a glare in the cards, and the best way is to get a white canvas sheet and place it in front of you and shine the light at the white canvas. This causes the lighting to increase without the glare in your cards. also, insufficient lighting means that although you have a 30 fps camera, you will not be getting a 30fps video !!!! that's something I found out from my friend. hope that helps eric
