I found out about a new web page for manipulation items.
https://trusleight.com/ They are producing manipulation balls, thimbles, and holders. I bought their product called Standout. It is where you product a Sharpie and then a box of cards. I received the items and these are great quality. They have a a bunch of different holders and ways to attach those holders to yourself. I have a set of 1" balls coming to try out for the 3 ball routine and they launched a nice little finale for either that effect or a cups routine. I post back here with the quality of the balls after I receive them. |

I got my 1" manipulation balls in a candy apple red. The red color is so dang vibrant. The color that you see on their web page is darn close to real life - just slightly less shine on mine. These things are great. They have a wonderful grip that makes using them a breeze. There is some compression to them, which made it easier for me to do a certain move. They don't bounce as far as my other set of Fakini balls.
Overall these things rock and I will be sure to buy some "back ups" because you know that when you find quality for a prop you better get it while you can. |

I took advantage of their black Friday sale and got a set of 1" green manipulation balls, a set of white thimbles (with a green color change), a set of rainbow thimbles (with a white color change), a 2" jumbo final thimble (green) and a bottle of their silicone cleaner. All the colors are nice, the balls do feel a bit "squishier" than my Fakini set but it makes the grip easier in my opinion. The hard inner shell of the thimbles are tapered nicely and have an added texture to make them less slick so they stay on better. The videos that come with each set only goes over the manufacturing process and some care/feeding tips, there are no included routines but they do mention some learning sources. It is certainly a company that has stepped up to fill the gap that Fakini left when they stopped manufacturing magic items.

A quick update. These 1" balls have held up really well. There is one downside and they pick up any dirt, fuzz, or hair. That has been my experience. They do sell a cleaner, but I didn't get that. Just water Cleaned mine back up. That would have to be the biggest con with these.

Not knowing the extent of the dirt picked up, it is similar to Fakini balls. they also picked up dirt but were easily cleaned. Guess it's just a trait of silicon and like material.

They actually address the fact that they pick up hair, fuzz, dirt, dust... when dropped on the QR embedded video which basically talks about the making, care/feeding of them. They suggest a drop of dish soap and rinse well. They also have a cleaner that they sell which is a fairly large amount for $5. I got some and it does do a great job, 1 drop of the cleaner, rub it around and rinse with water. Brand new again (till you drop one). I agree that they do pick up more than my Fakini 1" set and there are subtle differences between the two brands, some good, some bad, but all in all between my opinion as well as the opinion of another friend of mine who ordered several 1" sets (he does a lot with them) they are still well worth the asking price and although not "absolutely necessary" $5 ain't much for a huge bottle of maintenance.
I am also getting fairly used to the thimbles at this point too (but they have the exact same problem if dropped). My advice, to myself as well as others, just don't drop em ![]()

I’ve been using 2” bond lee and would like to move up a size, when they release the larger sizes I’ll probably give them a try.

Hi everyone, this is Wayne, the co-owner of TruSleight. Thank you for the feedback! We actually worked with a polymer expert to develop our silicone. It has a bit of a "grippy" feel compared to others on the market. They are not slick like many of the Asian versions that use much cheaper silicone, there is a difference! Also, our manipulation balls have near the same bounce as the old Fakini balls but they are a bit lighter. A normal Fakini 2 inch ball weighs 2.9 oz, vs TruSleight's 2.3 oz. It is enough to feel for sure. Please let me know if you have any questions. The larger balls are coming soon!

I purchased two TruSleight sets of the 1.75 inch balls, one red and one white. All around nice and comparable to the Fakini balls. I have a 1.75 Bond Lee set headed my way and will compare that to TruSleight sets. Silicone balls pick up lint, hair, dirt, and dust like magnets. I wouldn't put them in my trouser or coat pocket. A small paper bag in the pockets to hold the balls might work to keep them clean while your perform.

Over the years, I have searched and experimented with a variety of holders for eggs. It's a little trickier than balls because they're delicate. Up until now, I have been using holders from Fabric Manipulation that hold the eggs securely, so they don't fall out and smash on the stage, but the downside is that they are held so secure that it's a wrestling match to get them out.
I ordered two Adaptive Ball Holders from TruSleight to test and was impressed with the design. They hold the eggs securely and deliver them to my hand smoothly, without fumbling. The wrestling matches are a thing of the past. So I love the design and I needed holders just a bit smaller. I contacted Dave and he replied immediately, asking some questions to make sure he understood my needs. Within hours he had holders to my specifications in the mail. Well-thought-out, well designed, products with great customer service. This is an unsolicited, unpaid testimonial. |

When I decided to add the Multiplying Manipulation Balls to my casino show I went on a search for the best in the market. I purchased two very expensive sets before discovering the very affordable TruSleight set. And, in my opinion, they are the finest of manipulation balls available ANYWHERE today! The feel, the color, the quality is 2d to none. They handle beautifully and the colors "pop" on stage. Over my 34+ professional years Ive purchased and handled many sets of this trick but I can honestly say that these are the best I've ever seen. Cannot recommend this product highly enough, hence my 5 star rating. Thanks TruSleight!

Does anyone know what has happened to TruSleight ? Their website has reverted to a "Coming Soon" single page (no products) and their Facebook page is gone.

I purged several groups with “little activity” as I had way too many groups to keep up with. I tried searching trusleight in groups and got nothing. I hope it is just a web/server problem. I really like their products also, especially with them being able to fill the gap left by Fakini.
