I paid for the faster shipping as I thought it might get better handling that way. Mine arrived mid-afternoon today. I have assembled the acrylic case, charged the battery and dove into the details. EVERYTHING is first class, beautifully made and put together. I have even been successfully programed one of my own Routines! Still lots to learn and experiment with. Mark me down as a VERY happy customer!

Looks like once in a while you do get what you paid for; both with shipping and the product, in this case. I went for the free shipping and am patiently awaiting the arrival of mine.

Mark, you can also sign up for UPS notifications so you'll automatically get alerts when a package that is being shipped to your address has status changes.

Yes, I have a UPS account and get those notifications. But thank you for the tip. I have NO IDEA if this package is already in the hands of UPS but, given that I haven't received any notifications, I doubt it.

Before you got notification that UPS had your package, were you tracking it on the SkyNet website? This site:

http://www.skynet.es

That's the only place I can do any tracking, so far.

If you used the same site, did that site ever show that the package was passed to UPS?

Mark - I initially tracked the package - while it was "international" on SkyNet. But, also on my original SkyNet notification eMail they gave me the "handoff" UPS tracking number - which I used once the package arrived in the US.

When Corona was not yet an issue, I always had to expect 4-6 weeks for normally shipped packages from the USA
to my front door in Germany. With Corona, this has increased to up to 2 months and longer - The longest time the
packages spend with me always in the customs office, which are mercilessly overloaded with the flood of packages.

i got my handoff tracking and UPS was supposed to delivery it yesterday...notta...tracking according to skynet still says its in spain, ups now says check back tomorrow for updated delivery times (has said that since about 10pm last night(the orig date of delivery) and hasnt changed at all since) where oh where could my glorious switchboard be

Thank you. The one doesn't provide anymore text detail than the one I was using, except... At the top,the broad arrows, the last arrow that has changed from gray to blue is "In Transit". The next arrow (still gray) is "Arrived at Destination". So, it appears my package still hasn't arrived at the local shipper.

A little more information than I had before, so thank you!

Thank you, Rhett. Unfortunately, my SkyNet notification email (which was from "Packlink") does not provide any sort of handoff number. Nothing remotely resembling a UPS tracking number. There's a shipper reference number and then two SkyNet tracking numbers. The second SkyNet tracking number is simply the same number as the first with a "-0" added to the end. I tried both of those numbers and the reference number in UPS tracking and UPS's system doesn't recognize them.

At least with the alternate SkyNet tracking page that Magicalos linked, I can see when the package has arrived at the local shipper (which may or may not be UPS).

Mark, It looks like your package is probably with mine, or at least following the same track. When I check SkyNet I see similar tracking information. The difference is that I did get a UPS tracking number. When I check it, it shows the same thing as SkyNet; that its last location was Madrid and the status changed to "In Transit" and that was Jan 28. The UPS site says "Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date" but it's said that for a few days now. I think we just need to be patient and wait for the package to arrive in the US and be turned over to UPS. I'm hopeful then the tracking information will update and we'll get an accurate delivery date and then hopefully you'll start getting information from UPS too.

I hate to gloat - but I am enjoying experimenting with the pre-programmed features of The Switchboard and have made forays into the programming of my personal choices for sequence of Effects. I have been afraid as of yet to attempt to understand Effect #7 or the Final Prediction sequence (both VERY complicated.)

BUT - fellows, you are going to love the quality and implementation of this remarkable tencnological innovation in the switch box/switchboard genre....

I will give a small warning for all who are awaiting the Switchboard. Mine, at least, did NOT come with a charging cable (the charging unit was included.) I found that I had to charge the beaneries before I could use the Switchboard. You will need a micro USB to USB charging cable to do the job. Luckily I had one or I would have been forced to go out and get some of the non-rechargeable batteries of the same size to use until I had purchased the needed cable. Maybe they assumed that everybody had one of these cables.... maybe they do?

Surprised the cable wasn't included. But I've got about a dozen micro USB to USB A charging cables here in the house, so no worries.

Don't know if this will help but mine has finally shown up the UK. It has cleared customs and now with my local carrier.
It had shown still in Spain for a week but moved this morning.

Hope you all get your switch board soon soon Smile
