Just saying hi. I'm a rank amateur--I don't perform, aside from an occasional trick to blow my toddler nephew's mind. But I've always been interested in and fascinated by a good illusion. I'm mostly interested in impromptu magic and illusions that don't take a ton of specialized technology to pull off. To me, Arthur C. Clarke's famous line about sufficiently advanced technology being indistinguishable from magic shouldn't be an instruction to make magic with increasingly advanced technology. I love to see an impossible effect pulled off with nothing more than a deck of cards.
