Greetings,
I recently bought a triple split gaff off of a guy online who advertised it with the promo video of Greg Wilson's Split Focus; saying "with this coin, this routine is possible...". Well of course I bought it because it was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying Greg's product and routine but now I have a nice gaff and no routine. Not wanting to try and reverse engineer Greg's routine for ethical reasons and the frustration of guessing what he's doing, I've been searching for a source for similar routines, either book or video. But all I can seem to find are gaffs with routines or treatises on other gaffs like the Triple Threat which I believe is not similar at all. Anyway, can anyone point me to a resource for a triple split coin routines? |

Chicago,
Jeremiah Zuo just sent out an email for "The Coin Monster" book by Danny Cheng. https://www.tomdobrowolski.com/product-p......-cheng-1 one of the effects might be of interest to you: Super Standing Hoard - A version of Geoff Latta's Standing Hoard: a beautiful sequence of coins being produced, vanished, made to travel from hand to hand, and then finally vanishing for good. The idea is that the coins seem to have their own minds and misbehave, with an aesthetic much like Tony Slydini's One Coin Routine. Danny’s contribution was to employ the Super Triple Gimmick to do the heavy lifting without sacrificing any of the beauty of this wonderful classic of magic. |

Hi pablo,
if you are addressing the question to me, I don't know. I just got the email yesterday and remembered this post, so I thought I would pass along the reference. I did purchase the book, but I have not yet had time to read. sorry I can't be of more help here. maybe tom dobrowolski or jeremiah zuo will chime in with more info. I have almost everything these two publish and their stuff is always great. joe |

Chicago Magi,
I have not run into any resources for your gaff other than the routines that come with Split Focus, STC, and Coin Symphony. I do own all three products. STC comes with 6 routines. Split Focus comes with 15, and Symphony Coin comes with 2 (1 that requires 1 set and another routine that requires 2 sets). One thing to note: All three products use sleight of hand combined with the benefit of the gaff for the routines. There are no self-working routines in the instructions, There is a DVD titled Split Happens. I ordered it to see if it addressed the 3-1 gaff. I will let you know what I find. If you would like, we can facetime and I can show you some basic moves/routines you can play around with. caL

My apologies! I just re-read some of this thread and realized the OP was asking about "triple split coin" routines. The book I referenced has a trick using the "Super Triple Gimmick". I believe this is a completely different gimmick and would not help OP. Sorry for any confusion (i have a hard time keeping all these coin gimmick names straight!).

Sorry, I meant SPLIT HAPPENS DVD arrived today and I will review it this weekend.
anyone else have this DVD? Kotrozo, I was wondering why you were sending info on a pure sleight of hand routine when the topic was about Split Gaff technology in the Trick Coin Trickery Forum. :o)

Inigmntoya is correct. all the routines are with single splits. nice classic routines.

Clarification, most routines use a split coin (as opposed to triple split) but also include 3 or 4 other coins for multi-coin routines.
It definite provides options on how you can use a portion of your triple split. highly recommended.

Thanks all for taking the time to respond. Strange that there aren't more resources/routines in print for the use of this gaff. Sounds like a publishing opportunity for a coin worker...
