If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Now I am really confused.

Is this article implying that the really big money is made nowadays by using one brains and modern techniques as opposed to using dated and over exposed 19th century methods such as bottoms, Stevens culls, hops, center deals, etc.?

Who would have thought?

Oh, wait a minute. We are in the 21st century.

WOW, time really fly's.

Speaking of brains, the other day over here a crew of conmen raided a Spiel posing as the Gambling Commission and seized everything. Well, it was a bit smarter than robbing the joint with guns etcetera, I think.

It was an old story but I have not seen it gone into in so much detail.

We found a mathematical edge in horse some years ago, which was the Tote had rule which guaranteed a 10p in pound minimum payout for no ration reason. It meant one could back long odds on horses for a place and it was almost like buying money for a 10% profit. It lasted a few years until they banned us.
