I'm looking for a source that explains the method of making Hofzinser's see-though card. I am experienced with making gaffs and have some ideas of how it is done, but I'm looking for as original a source as possible. Also, I'd be interested in any sources for how JNH used the gaff in performances.

I don't have an early source but I believe the construction is covered on Martini's Art of Card Splitting DVD. Here's a link to his website:
