Hello The Gambling Spot,

I recently purchase Steve Forte's book. Where do y'all suggest we share work-in-progress technique videos for dissection?

Ideally, there would be a forum that is restricted to those who have purchased Steve's book. If that does not exist, where can we post videos while protecting Steve's work?

Best,
Shaun

I used to be quite sensitive to criticism; I am much less so now; so, please do criticize my technique, presentation, and posts. It helps me to grow, and I promise to take responsibility and not to be defensive.

I think you ought to contact Arnold:

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Hi Shaun,

There was a subreddit page created, which was intended to be only for those in possession of the book:
https://www.reddit.com/r/forteyears

I haven't been on the page myself, so I don't know how active it is, but it might be what you're looking for.

The reddit is semi-active (a couple posts per week maybe), and requires proof that you own the book.

There is a facebook group with lots of videos that you need to apply for (but I don't think you need to prove ownership). Its called "Forte Years of Research Discussion". This link should work: https://www.facebook.com/groups/187820852595509

The reddit is better for asking questions on technique (but could do with being more active), and the facebook is good for sharing and viewing videos (but requires a facebook account and usually has less in the way of detailed discussion).

Both are pretty good for different but suffer from limitations of those individual platforms. I'm sure you'd be able to arrange some kind of session via either though!

Thank y'all for the tips, TH and Kimura. I lack both a Facebook and a Reddit account, because of the not insignificant downsides of both. Perhaps there is a small market niche for something like this.

Well, I am a software developer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/shaunluttin/). Private video delivery, though, is non-trivial and can be expensive.
