Do you also want smaller length and width or is it just thickness you're concerned about?

The Paper Engine is quite focussed and advanced - more compact that slim, however [imagine hardback cloth covers]

Handcrafted Card Magic vol. 1-3 (small but excellent)by Denis Behr or magic on tap, if you want hours of his work on video.

How about Vanishing Inc's hardcover reprints of Daryl's "Secrets of a Puerto Rican Gambler" and "For Your Entertainment Pleasure" by Stephen Minch? Jack Carpenter "Modus Operandi" By Stephen Hobbs is also excellent. Troy Hooser "Moments" & "Destroyers" by Josh Jay both have some great card material. I would also vote for John Bannon "Dear Mr. Fantasy" and John Guasteferro "One Degree" but I think those are both softcover only now. My copy of the "Commercial Magic of J.C. Wagner" by Mike Maxwell is paperback and I always wish I would have gotten the hardback version! There are many more but hope these are helpful...

Reflections by Helder Guimaraes seems to be pretty good.

Harry Lorayne's Decksterity
Andrew Galloway's Diverting Magic has some really good things in it, although it does have more of a beginner mindset. |
