Hello everyone. I am needing help for one of my friends. He is wanting to upgrade to a dollar size CSB. I steered him away from Roy Kueppers as he is hit or miss. How is Tangos dollar size CSB? I usually buy Lassen but that isn't an option. I also found the following but don't know the quality. Thanks in advance for any insight.

I would go for tango Ike copper silver brass , it’s not a lot of money and replacement coins are not expensive

I owned Todd Lassen's Morgan Dollar CSB and I had no regrets paying full price for it.
I also own Tango CSB. it is not exactly designed the same way as the traditional CSB. However, it is low cost.

I will PM you with some information

Todd is currently on a run of Quarter CSB sets.
His last published price for a dollar set (back in 2014) was $410.

Bluether's CSB set is made with good quality replica coins and won't break the bank - something he can use today while waiting.

If replicas work for you and your not dead set on the real deal silver coin gaffs then this is defiantly a great price .

I've bought from Tom before and he's a good guy, but I'd spend the extra on the Bluether 2.0 set*.
The "replica" Morgan in the set linked below looks totally fake to anyone who's familiar with real ones.
Granted, most people have never seen a real Morgan, but if you run across a coin collector they'll spot it as a fake right off.
The pointy "Roman" nose, and lack of detail in the hair are dead give-aways.

Real Morgan:

*Buy from a reputable source (or direct from Joe Berman in the US) - they're fake coins, but there are even knock offs of the fakes using the Bluether name.

I've never owned the Tom Ladshaw set, but Inigmntoya is dead right on the Bluether option. The CSB 2.0 set is very very good, and Joe B is a responsive and helpful guy.

Me neither. I just ordered it. I'll do a brief review once it arrives...

Gentleman, it really helps members to make a purchase decision if you leave a link...

Oddly, the CSB is the only product lacking a cost listing.

So far, never been called out on the Morgan.
Even by magicians.

Man! I could not be happier! Flawless! This is perfect for a beginner who does not want to spend a fortune. You really can't go wrong for $50!

I wanted to change everything to Morgan's and Walking Liberty. The cost was going to be epic.
Then I found Tom's website. Made it all possible.

Split coins, SUPER magnet coins, hopping half, pure heaven.
