Hi all, I know this device has been discussed a few times on this forum and you have my word I searched for the answer both here and via Google but I'm confused by the difference between John Kennedy's Mystery Box and Mystery Box II. I purchased a Mystery Box II from a now shuttered Pittsburgh magic shop called The Cuckoo's Nest (my favorite refuge in Pittsburgh) back in 2008. My confusion comes from the fact that it is made of wood and clearly came in the factory packaging that said "Mystery Box II". When I search for it, all I can find are the less attractive plastic versions. Was Mystery Box II made in wood? If so, how can I tell I have the second version? I want to be clear - I'm happy with it regardless of which one. Please feel free to move this post if it's in the wrong place.

Both Mystery Box and Mystery Box II were made of wood. In fact, there were even exotic wood versions.
