Years ago I saw a poison ring at a flea market in style that used to be popular as a men’s pinky ring. Yellow gold, possibly 14k, maybe less, with a large semi precious stone. it was also a poison ring in that the stone and setting opened on a concealed hinge. but where there should have been a space for whatever illicit substance of choice the wearer would normally use, there was a small pair of convex mirrors that it immediately struck me were probably meant to be used as a Sh****r.
anyone else ever come across something like that? is there a name for it? ive never seen anything like it since and have been kicking myself for not snatching it up at the time ever since.

I don't think anyone coming here either doesn't know what a shiner is, or would know what is was even with the full word. Sounds like a cool ring tho, I can think of one card guy who wears rings....

I've never seen a particular ring like you mentioned. (I'm trying to figure out how you would use it with the mirrors inside? You'd have to have it open while dealing?)
There's definitely shiners available. Here's a demo video from someone who sells them custom on eBay (or use to at least). I'm not vouching got the link, just that it's a ring. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9oWXmWS_UdY Quote:

We own a bar in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, where there are hundreds of small workshops and the boys there can make anything. Mind you, the price of gold today makes things expense.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
