After YEARS of research, this blockbuster effect just got better.
From the incredible mentalist Banachek and Philip Ryan. With NO magnets or threads, and you can be as far away as you like from the pen when it falls...make the Sharpie you WROTE with FALL ON CAMMAND. Yes! You can WRITE with it. Yes! you can CONTROL the time of the drop. Yes! You can perform SURROUNDED. Yes! It is handmade so you KNOW you can trust it. ...And so much more! https://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=68092 |

Great that you can now remove the cap and write with the Sharpie but what happens when the ink runs out. Can you (easily) replace the ink please or do you have to replace the whole pen?

Just received mine today, and it is INSANELY fiddly compared to the previous version of Fall. It doesn't want to stay on the table, but even when placed rather precariously, it can take up to 2.5 minutes to fall off, or even refuse to do so completely. Even when it does fall, it can often wobble and move for up to 40 seconds, slowly walking itself off the edge, which to me is far too long to remain legitimately dramatic and hints at method.
I was very excited about the possibility of combining Fall with some of my other routines with the new functionality, but unless my unit is defective, I can't see this being a plausible replacement for the old gimmick. The tip works - the trick doesn't. |

I’m extremely disappointed with mine. I bought 2 and they are both very inconsistent. I have tried them cold, warm, hot, I’ve timed both the setup and delay numerous times in order to sus out a reliable way to use these but have had them fall in 20 seconds or over 2 mins with no discernible way to predict or estimate the time. Completely unusable and I’m thinking of trying to return them. If this is what having the pen write does to the method you can stick it. Waste of time!

And no, no way of refilling is provided or described.

There is a method of replacing the tip described, but it says to do so "at your own risk."
