Hey everyone. I am new to gambling moves. I of course have 40 years of research books and Fulves riffle stacking material. I am also a member of the Facebook group for said Forte books. I am wondering if someone would be interested in mentoring me? Just someone to tell me when I'm doing things wrong or right. Share ideas with and so on. I have been at it for 2 months so I know that I know nothing. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I run a private professional game for a living. I have been around gamblers, hustlers and villains all my life. I have known top professional gamblers and confidence men. I have done time and according to one Judge, I am an entrenched criminal, connected to organized crime and the gambling rackets. I will say, that you know more than everybody I have ever known because I doubt anybody I have ever known knows Fulva’s riffle stacking material. That might mean that you could get the money from those who don’t know what you know.

I also think that much more stuff would fly than what people seem to believe, at least here and facebook. I think there is almost to much focus on everything being perfect, and the same style as everyone at the table. These days, especially in high limit games, I do not think the average person knows reallhy anything about all of this. But what do I know

This.

Magicians and "gambling move" enthusiasts would be shocked and disappointed if they saw the general level of sleight of hand prowess that is on display in most casino scams. Every once in a while though, you see something that really blows you away. Last year I saw a buy-in scam which involved the thief folding and copping out half a stack of notes (bills) before handing the rest back to the cashier. His naturalness was utterly perfect. Cant say the same about the rest of his team, sadly. Very pedestrian.

That is interesting. Thank you.

I do not suggest standard mechanics can be applied to the professional poker games, where the industry security procedures prevent most moves from being applied. I do not suggest that standard mechanics can be applied in self dealt amateur games, against the right marks. The hard part is finding the right marks and hustling them: luring the less knowing suckers to gamble with you. That aspect of hustling is done off the card table. Spend some time in a billiard hall and watch how it is done.

To be honest, with poker I've only ever really seen marking and swapping. Pretty rank stuff. Though I imagine that the better cheats go unnoticed by us. It stands to reason

The cash game of choice here in England is 4/5 or 6 card dealers choice Omaha and switching cards is, well let's say more possible this game than Hold'em.

As I run a private game, it would be easy for me to put in a marked deck but I try to run a square game.

We only use standard KEMs and so it possible players to switch in readers but our procedure would bring them to light quickly. Our procedure is a little different than standard casino procedure: when the croup comes off he hands me the deck and I give the croup going on fresh deck. This me time to check the cards. Do you follow?

Yes. I hear it makes them soft but I have tested it and it does not seem to work.

That does not mean that it does not work: it just means that I could not detect any difference or I was doing something wrong.
