Hello Everyone. This is my attempt at a Drawer Box. I actually had this nearly finished at the start of last year, but for a host of reasons, have only just finished it.
Sometimes Life gets in the way of Living!
Length is 280mm, height is 180mm and the width is 115mm.
The box is constructed from 5mm and 3mm MDF, with laser cut mdf flourishes, from a 2 Dollar Craft shop.
The workings require an attractive piece of jewellery for it to operate. The box is quite examinable, no finger holes etc.
I just need to think about what I may attempt next!

Cheers

Nice!

Did you have a specific routine in mind that takes advantage of its safe-like construction?

G'day Frank. Many Thanks for your kind comment.
No, I don't have a specific routine as yet but I have handed it to family and friends and they have not figured out anything is amiss. I believe some of the older styles had a p#####r or f####r h##e to make the magic happen.
The "attractive" piece of jewellery makes it all happen.
Looking at it now the safe design could be worked with a fake combination dial as a drawer pull could work.
Stay tuned for Vers.2.0!
Cheers
Salty
