Thanks for your thoughts Eric - I might be wrong regarding the method in the end so I had one question which I'm asking here because it might make a difference for people who consider purchasing it: does your spectator need to know how to do a riffle shuffle for this method ? Please feel free to say you'd rather not answer if you feel it exposes too much but the reason I'm asking is that in the US most people know how to riffle shuffle however in Europe I feel it's not as common...
Thanks! |

Regardless of how common this method is, the handling looks so free and flawless; I like this a lot and am probably going to pick it up

There is without a doubt a recommendation to pick somebody who can do a riffle shuffle. However I've been working with this even doing over hand stuffles as well as just cutting the cards and it still seems to be working out. The reason being is they Shuffle the cards before they even pick a card so to me I don't understand why it cannot be any kind of Shuffle. But there is a recommendation to pick someone who can do a riffle Shuffle. I've tried it several ways so far and they've all worked out the best I've done is having all the cards put down on a table and spin the cards around and just have them mix it together and I could even watch them do that and then once it's done tell him to cut the cards several times and then hand the deck to me this might be the one I use.

You could always just !@#$E a card have them shuffle the card into the deck & Shuffle & Shuffle place the deck behind your back & produce the duplicate of the !@#$E
card ! keep it in your back pocket that should work just fine ! |

Not looking for exposure here obviously but how impromptu is this?

Once you are ready to go it is very impromptu. Once the work is done and you have the pack of cards with you you are ready to go. And of course the outcomes will always be different. I highly recommend this effect. It looks very difficult but in all actuality it is not takes a little practice but nothing that will be a knuckle buster. And keep in mind folks I'm a klutz so if I can do it you can do it.

Hypothetically.... If one does not own a S$%#**@R Deck, would they need to purchase one for this effect?
