John Cornelius's Thought transmitter Pro V3 does what no other wallet in the world does.

Effect:

A spectator writes down a word or draws something on the back of his business card. The card is then placed between two opaque cards in an opaque wallet. There is no way to see inside of the wallet. You could even put rubber bands around the wallet, and drop it in a clear zip lock bag to prevent manipulation.

Now without opening the wallet, the magician is able to divine the instant, the written thought at any time desired.

Wallet can be freely handled as there are no hidden flaps, mirrors, slides, or any of the typical methods. The TTPV3 is the most straight forward and natural way to retrieve a thought!

With the new Thought Transmitter Pro V3 you are able to carry credit cards, your drivers license, money etc. inside the wallet.

Comes with everything you need to start performing right out of the box.

Includes online instructions with multiple routines!

Judging by the price I’m not sure electronics are involved here.

That’s what mass production in China does.
QC probably out the window too

I don't know anything about the first versions, is this priced a lot cheaper? Those ones were supposed to be pretty good, right?

I DON'T need a new wallet. I've got one (or two, actually) I use and love. But.... I like new toys and this made me take notice.

From what I heard you can change the battery in this one and there's been some improvements but I don't know to what extent however the battery issue has been resolved where you can in fact change the battery.

Good magic to all,

I've got the original one of these and I'm sure I said somewhere on here a while back that an updated one of these would be a great idea. It is in my opinion the" best peek wallet where you have to put a card back in to your wallet " peek ever. Mine is like a wee bus ticket wallet and a bit plasticky and I always thought a nicely made leather edition with an extra pocket for credit cards etc would be perfect. From watching the demo video I can't tell how much better quality it is. If you've never had one of these before, you'll probably really like this.

I have the original. I loved it and used it a lot. The plastic started tearing and coming apart. Also, the battery wore out and was not replaceable. There used to be replacements for the battery gimmick, but John stopped supplying them. So I'm hopeful that this version fixes all these issues. I don't think it is leather, however. This one requires writing on a card. I liked the PostIt note method better, because it was more logical with the wallet being the note pad holder. If the spectator can put the card in himself, then that would be a lot better that the magician having to handle the card.

I'll wait for reviews.

I’ve thought about getting this (the older version) for a while now. The battery was one reason I didn’t. I also wonder how this compares to the Lookout wallet.

What is the exact difference between this (V3) and Thought Transmitter Pro (V2)?
The wallet pretty much looks the same.

The wallet and cards in the case that are shown in the demo look just like my Thought Transmitter Pro (the updated version of John C's original that I got 2-3 years ago).

However, the ad copy here...

"With the new Thought Transmitter Pro V3 you are able to carry credit cards, your drivers license, money etc... inside the wallet."

...makes it almost sound like the wallet has been re-thought/re-constructed in some respect. This, plus the fact the trailer doesn't mention "v3" makes me think this trailer was made for the V2 that came out a few years ago. OTOH, if you've got a new, updated wallet, one would think they would want to show what it looks like when trying to sell the public on buying their product.

In any case, I love these gadgets and look forward to learning more about this one!
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Thought Transmitter pro the second version was terrible compared the original. I hope they have made this more like the original with a battery that can be easy to change. I want to hear some reviews. Looks like Murphy's is working with John and is using their contacts in China. Sure hope its a Great upgrade.

Yes but the mechanism was not very advanced.
To be honest it looked like one of a early prototype.

I was also disappointed with V2 except for the battery replacement option. Version V1 I felt was very successful. Version 3 in a leather version and well finished would be optimal for me. The closure with additional rubber bands I find excessive and unnecessary, rather even annoying. I will probably try to modify my V1 that is still in good condition with an alternative battery solution. The plastic version 1 looks a little cheap but that can also be an advantage.

I wasn't happy about the battery and gold corners in the previous version. Hope this is a better version.

I have an original, and got a "brainwave" wallet from Ray Carlyle (RIP) which IMHO was much better. Better viewing, and better wallet (yes, for the $, plastic is going ot be it). Still no changeable battery, but much better.

Along came V2 of this one, and I was told that the peek was more of a red "background" ;-) which was a little harder to read, but less noticeable for low light venues. I stayed away for this reason and got the Ray Carlyle one.

I was going to get another Carlyle one as a backup (someone has taken over his online store), but wondering if anyone has seen this and if the red is back to something brighter?
Dave
