Has anyone used the Taylor Imagineering Spectral Wind Chimes? I am very interested in this effect with toe switch. It is pricey but seems to be very different type of spirit bell. Would appreciate some info from you folks on this one.
Thanks Gerald

I don't have them, but they sure are on my dream list. I just can't help imagining a performance on a still, summer evening. Sitting by an open window, or on a large porch. Calling out to a departed friend. Did the chimes just ring? How could they? There was no breeze. No wind.
Wait, they just rang again. We all heard them. These seem like the absolutely perfect spirit bell. Totally organic. Not a prop. Not a tool. No reason for the chimes to be noticed at all until they should be.

Many thanks Wizard, I just may pull the trigger on this one but wow they are pricey by the time you pay the tax and ship cost over $400.00. I am sure they are tops being produced by a respected company, I just don't know if the investment is wise at this time. Not able to do intimate routines with the covid situation, but things will get better. Yep trying to talk myself into it.🤔

I have never had the artificial spirit wind chimes, but did once have the real deal. My brother-in-law was dying of cancer and constantly talked about wanting to go home. His Chemo was so bad they literally had to tie him down to the bed to give it to him. He finally said "no" to any more treatments. On the day he died, his sister and her husband were at the family home when the dog perked up his ears and the wind chime hanging in the living room (no wind)started chiming. Never experienced that again.
However, for those who need the alternative, non-real, spirit connection and desire to control the spirits instead of letting the spirits act upon their own, Spectral Winds may be a good choice. Personally, I think it is pretty arrogant to thing we can control the spirits and a fail in some cases is more powerful than a fake contact. If it wasn't so expensive, I would by one just to hang in the house to remind me of this experienced event more often. Thanks for asking the question.

I have it and it is great. I think I got it when they had a rare sale on all of their items.

Well they offered to include a toe switch at no charge so I pulled the trigger. These folks are very nice and will answer your questions promptly.

This looks like an amazing, high-quality product. It is no doubt absolutely perfect for a certain performer who needs certain conditions in their performance. I would encourage anyone who needs this to grab it ASAP.
...but the thought does occur to me that one could produce this same effect almost for free, with the simple application of IT...

My set arrived this morning. Just perfect for me. Very quality build with wonderful instructions. The toe switch is great and will be used for most performances. This thing is built like a tank no cheap stuff here. Hats off the folks at Taylorimagineering their effects are quality and customer service is outstanding. Will do more business from these folks, that's for sure.

I think it goes without mentioning that any telekinetic effect should be used only once (maybe twice) in any performance. You want to straddle the line between accidental coincidence and purposeful communication.

Can’t speak highly enough on this. Even if you’re not performing bizarre, the subtle timing of the chimes from another room during “the moment” in a mentalism routine really makes specs wonder.
