Good justifications...hmmmm. I guess that depends on what you call 'good justifications.'

As a mentalist, the esoteric approaches you cite make as good a front story as any I suppose.

Pesonally, I just play on the preconceived notions of the public at large: mind-over-body control, lock knowledge, and the uncanny ability to find "weak spots" in various restraints and exploit them.
