Does anyone happen to have experience with any TCC Coins? I was wondering how they compare to aTodd Lasson, Roy Kueppers, or Johnson’s. So they hold their own?

The one's they are currently selling as a Kickstarter? They are not shipping until September. Though, maybe there are people who got preview sets for testing?

I ordered their Hopping Half and CSB sets from their Kick-starter campaign...prices are pretty reasonable right now for the HD sets. $96.00 for those sets I bought.
I did not buy any from their luxury line, though, because I don't really care about a fancy box. I doubt they can compare to Lassen's level, though, but we shall see in September.

I'm pretty sure the luxury line is more than the fancier packaging. It uses silver walking liberties instead of the clad Kennedy's in the HD line.

I don't have many gaffs so I'm hoping they are at least decent enough to be a good set to start off with and learn.

Looks like Patrick Kun got a preview CSB set. He posted a routine to his Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMy-U2ADljk/

Looks like Dave got a complete set in this week's Wizard Magic Review, but he didn't show them.

Just pledged for the HD Sun & Moon coin set. This is the first time I will have worked with KickStarter.

I was a little surprised that the registration process did not ask for a mailing address, but the confirmation email from KS says, "The creator will reach out when your reward is ready. They might contact you before that if they need your mailing address or other necessary details" so that sounds common.

Always wanted a quality S/M set in half dollars. Hopefully it will be better than their $20 Himber Wallet! Smile
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

It’s common for Kickstarter campaigns to wait to ask backers for their mailing address until the project is ready to ship.

The coins turned out very nice. Picked up the HD shell, HD CSB and HD Hopping half.

Mine came in today, at first glance I'm happy with the quality. Picked up HD(Kennedy) folding coin, shell, flipper, CSB, shell, and a handful of the Brass Chinese coins.

One thing I want to do is clean/polish the CSB set, so all the coins are equal appearance and eventually get a even patina to them overtime.

My CSB arrived with pretty much the same level of polish, so they are now darkening nicely (and consistently with each other).

For anyone who is interested, here is a photo album showing the TCC coins I received (and liked!) Flipper HD, CSB HD and Hopping Half sets.

I'm really enjoying these coins, so also ordered (after the fact) the Sun/Moon set and will add some photos of that to the album when I get it (in probably a month!)

What happened to the posts describing issues with the finish on some of the TCC coins?
I've spent way too much time cleaning mine up given they were brand new from the manufacturer.

This one was atrocious:

I thought the CSB set I received was just so so. I think the English penny isn’t as realistic on the hand and appears very flat compared to a Mexican coin with its raised edge which makes it appear more solid and substantial in my opinion.
Having 5 coins is however a bonus I guess.

The use of an English Penny in a CSB set was a poor choice IMHO. It's not like others haven't done it, but an EP is larger than a half dollar which means it needs to be heavily milled down to fit as the insert coin. In this case, the entire rim and part of the beading had to be removed. They at least did the same thing to the matching coin, and most non-magicians have never seen an English Penny before so it won't look as "off" to them as it does to us.

That said, it can be an issue if you have other coin sets that include EPs.
