I think 25 tricks with a sponge ball is fine, or there's some nice stuff in Mark Wilson's Complete course in magic, that's always good.

Duane Laflin has a nice video "Colorful Sponge Ball Magic" pretty cheap (I paid $10 at Magi-Fest). He also sells the sponge balls in all sizes and colors.
