I just read that Todd Lassen has suddenly left this world. A great loss for our community. I saw it and questioned it but a reliable source said this.

I talked to his daughter this afternoon. She asked me to confirm the information to the magic community.
Todd Lassen has passed away due to heart failure complications on April 18th. You're in a better place now, Todd. We will all miss you. Best, Craig |

He was a giant in his craft. No one could touch him. Much like Steve Dusheck, he was often treated unfairly and unethically by some in the magical world, downsized, and kept doing what he loved. RIP, and best wishes to his daughter.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I just saw this on his blog. What a terrible shock. I am heartbroken for the magic community at the loss of a true artist.

Todd was an amazing artist and cantankerous old man. I only knew him from our short conversations over the phone. He was always helpful and when I recieved my order I knew that there was both time and love put into the coins I held. I am sorry for the hole this has left in his family's life and void this has left in our small community. May Todd be immortalized through each one of us by the use of his labors, to spread joy and amazement in others as he has in each of us.
