Is there any way to perform the "coin vanish" without the raven?

Check out the search function and check out the various posts in the Show Me The Money section.

Or showing both hands empty after a coin vanish try:

If you are interested in Holdouts then there are a number of discussions like the one at:

or a discussion of good books on coin magic try:
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......;forum=3

I could go on and on for pages but you get the idea. Just use the search function and you will find tons of discussion on the topic. If they don’t completely answer what you want to know then add a question to an existing thread.

Half the fun is in the search!

The revolution is the best Vanish by far. It is sold from Ellusionist. You can make any small obect dissapear, you can make coins bend, coins turn into dice, or vice versa, and to top it all off you are one hundred percent clean at the end of the trick. ellusionist rocks.
i dont call 911, i simpily perform the bullet catch and than point the bullet at them and ask if they care to try.

There is a complete coin vanish somewhere in a video called Secret Sessions. Simple but sweet!

Simple S-O-H!
There's chapters on it in Tarbell's course in magic.
The FD is magical just by using a little something that is often forgotten: Misdirection.
You can get coin vanishing props.

A personal favourite: Dynamic Coin trick. It's similar to cups and balls (only two caps(sic),coin stacks and a ring). The final disappearance is so brilliant, it deserves four exclamation marks!!!!
