Hey guys! I thought I'd introduce you to a new horror style effect. It has an optional jump scare which is justified in the scripting and it allows for a memento photo to be left on their phone which is a nice promotional opportunity! It is structured very much like a mini movie. Creating an unsettled and eerie atmosphere with a little bit of disorientation to what is going on, leading up to the poem, then the jump scare and finally the revelation of a clown appearing! It is a very different kind of effect but lends itself to larger performances or just out with your friends. I have been performing it on and off for over 5 years now and it is one of the most enjoyable from a performance aspect, that I have performed. It really is a good fun routine! Here is more information for you:
In 2003, ‘The Clown’ committed a series of murders across southern states of America. All the victims were murdered on their birthday and the only evidence the police found at the scene is a birthday card with a clown on its front. Inside, a disturbing poem intended for the victim. As this twisted and unsettling story unfolds, you introduce an envelope which has a birthday card inside for the spectator. However, when it is taken out, the clown that should be on the front is found to have vanished. None the less, you take a red balloon from your pocket and blow it up for the spectator who is asked to pose with their card and the balloon. You borrow their phone and take a memento photo. The spectator is instructed to open the card and read the bespoke poem written for them. By the time they reach the end, something happens that will make them scream and shudder. Finally, when they look back at the photo on their phone, there is now a creepy clown looking back at them… This is a killer dark effect designed to build suspense, make your audience jump out of their skin and finally, leave them with a disturbing photo memento. The handling and props do the hard work for you so you can focus on your performance! Comes with 2 professionally designed and printed birthday cards, a custom designed inlay with the printed poem, a special gimmicked envelope, 5 red balloons to get you started and an in-depth video instruction! WHAT DO YOU GET? You receive 2 custom printed celebration cards which were sourced from an actual greetings card company. The finish is unique to this company and when you see them, you'll understand that they are the finest quality available! You also receive an inlay printed on silk finish paper. On one side is a custom designed page which has the dreadfully creepy poem on it. On the other side is a blank version so that if you do not speak english or you want to use a different presentation, you can design it to suit your needs! You also get 5 red latex, 9 inch balloons to get your started! All of this is housed in a custom designed and cut folder which also has the code to access the instructions inside! On the download, Jamie is joined by the incredible Liam Montier as they discuss the history, scripting, handling and nuances of this eerie effect! They even discuss ways you can alter the props to make them even more spooky! For good measure, you will also be able to download a PDF which gives the basic handling and ideas as a quick start and reference guide! There are 3 different designs which were voted for by nearly 600 members of the general public. These were voted the scariest designs so you can ensure the very best spooked reactions! For more info and for the trailer, check out: www.jamiedaws.co.uk/theclown Stay spooky! Jamie Daws

Congrats on your launch & the 1st 24hrs of an almost total sell out !!
Clowns #1 & spiders #2 (slithery things a close 2nd runner up to spiders, lol) are the most feared things on an average basis. I used to work in the haunted house attraction industry & did a few personally every yr & my clowns were the most loved AND hated of all !! Looking forward to getting this, thanx Jamie & congrats ! Always interesting to see what's up your sleeve next 🤔 |

Scary? What is really scary is living with a clown.

I suppose the only good news is that depending on the clown, you won't be living for long. ;-)

Received this the other day. Very nice props and the routine lends itself to come up with a great story. I like how you can present this a few different ways as Jamie suggests in the instructions. Looking forward to performing this at Halloween!!

Performed this at a Halloween gig this past Saturday. Just fantastic! The reactions were mixed but predominately quiet with looks of shock! Besides the Popping of the balloon which made some jump, lol!
Great release Jamie!!
