I am looking for a good supplier of electronic parts here in the US. I would like to deal with someone that is willing to advise you on best applications for different applications. I am looking for servos, controllers and transmitters. There are several suppliers out of country but the shipping is terrible both in cost and time. I am not an electronic engineer but do understand rc workings. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Adafruit for a couple of Arduino micro-controllers and Pi computers. They have a great assortment of servos, switches, etc.
They also have *plenty* of tutorials on their products and projects. You could spend hours exploring their site. 1, 2, and 4 button fob RF transmitters, and links to receivers, are at the bottom of this page: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1095 Their entire wireless page starts here: https://www.adafruit.com/category/112 Hope this helps.

Thanks, Dan.
Just finding those links got me wrapped up in exploring their site again. Between the hardware they offer and the software tutorials, I really can spend an hour there!
