Hi everyone!
My name is Mark. Truth be told (honesty is a virtue in the Café, right?), I registered with the Café in 2016, but never followed up with my new arrival introduction and posting in my favorite forums. I decided at the time to wait till my photography travel schedule calmed down in order to do it properly, and now is the time! Magic for me is a hobby, not a profession. I am a photographer based in Los Angeles and I specialize in shooting home interiors, gardens, and travel for magazines and book publishers. I just finished shooting two book projects, and I feel the time is right to connect with the Café....Finally! I have been passionate about magic since my teen years, and love to perform occasionally to family and friends. I am an avid collector of Magic Wagon, Tenyo, and magic books in general, and my favorite magicians are Steve Valentine, Gregory Wilson, and Bill Malone. It definitely is a pleasure to be here with everyone! Mark |

Hi SoCalGuy, I'm NorCalGuy (well, some people call me Dave).
There's a lot of us here that don't perform for anyone other than family, co-workers and friends. There's also others that are simply collectors, and just enjoy reading. Welcome to TMC. Dave |

Jon and Dave,
Thanks for the welcome! Greatly appreciated! Hey Dave, Are you gonna change your user name to NorCalGuy? Ha.....has a certain ring to it! Jon, Are you a professional magician, or an avid enthusiast? Thanks for taking the time and saying hello! |

Like you, I'm an enthusiastic amateur, not a pro. But I haven't been at it as long as you have!

Welcome. Nice list of favorite magicians. I'm a huge fan of Bill Malone. In addition to being a great performer, he's an outstanding teacher in his videos.
Enjoy the Café!

Thanks imgic!
No one is funnier than Bill Malone! You are right, his videos are insanely great. I had the opportunity 6 years ago to hire Bill for a private birthday party in LA. Let me just say it was unreal! A true pro and a gentleman!!! |
