The coin community around the world LOVED prior versions because it is SO VISUAL.
Today, 7 years later, there is a newly UPGRADED coin prop that makes the series even better...check out the N5 Coin Set. Make a black Chinese coin with a REAL HOLE instantly change into a silver Morgan WITHOUT any unnecessary movement... AND the spectator can check the two coins! https://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=69442 N5 is made of high-quality replica Morgan and Chinese coins. The whole set of props includes a N5 gimmick coin, a common replica Morgan, a common Chinese coin, magnets and wooden wand. |

That is one of the strangest ways to hand the spectator a coin.

I assume there are better ways to hand out a coin! Nevertheless, these coins do look gorgeous, and I shall be acquiring some.

Looks very visual. Can people who own previous versions comment on this?

Reminds me a lot of Mo Faux by the late, great Todd Lassen.
(Still so strange to write that.) |

"what are you waiting for? Hurry up!"
Looks nice, not sure the wooden "wand" thru hole is really necessary, though |

Agree about the wand but I’m guessing he includes it to make stealing the coin for the final switch less obvious.

Murphy's said you can do any switch that works for you--so this must just be this guy's odd preferred handling.

I think at some point these 'visual' effects end up looking more mechanical than magical– more of an engineering feat than routining and sleight of hand.

Just received some at my shop. These coins and gaffs are really gorgeous, and one of the gaffs is something I’d never seen before. I’m actually quite surprised this is selling at such an inexpensive price.

Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Sounds like a good gimmick.

Propdog like the gimmick, so that's always a good thing...release date says 6/14 on Murphy's, so now that shops are getting it, hopefully ships Monday for those of us that pre-ordered

Got mine today. No time to watch the tutorial, but agree with Propdog that the gimmick is well made. Will comment on the actual workings of the effect after I've had a chance to play with it.

Great prop, fabrication is very good but tutorial is one of the worst I’ve seen… 3 minutes, poor quality.

I’m guessing those handoffs look funny because you have to set the gimmick as you take it out o a spectators hand.

Got this today. To say I'm disappointed in this would be an understatement of the highest degree. Since it's been mentioned, completely agree with Alex that the tutorial is one of the worst, if not THE worst that I've ever seen. 3 minutes of very badly subtitled torture. C'mon N2G, at lease use an English-speaking proofreader to correct the numerous bad spelling errors. The $65 price is about $30 too much. Not expecting Lassen quality coins here, and for sure the props are not terrible. But you are barely shown how to do the effect, and the way it's performed on the demo video is not shown. The gimmick working is not what I expected. There's one part of the gimmick that could be easily lost, and then the gimmick is basically worthless. I need to go look at this some more to be sure I hate it as much as I think I do. Your mileage may vary.
