I'm pleased to finally announce my brand new app: Streets Pro
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntoOo0U45R0 Streets Pro is a digital book test that uses a map on a borrowed phone. You'll be able to perform multiple effects with a map, both in person and remotely. Download Streets Pro from the App Store - Predict which location a spectator will select in advance. - Determine which street name a spectator is merely thinking of. - Reveal information about a freely chosen local area. For example: - You send a spectator a link to a zoomed out pin on a map. - Have them name ANY location. - They zoom in to the map to see that the prediction was correct. And then... - Have your spectator zoom in to the map to ANY location in the world and just think of a street name. - You'll be able to tell them the street name, plus information about the local area such as restaurants and Cafés, what place they were just thinking of searching for before, and much more! Streets Pro uses concepts that I've created and refined from my most popular work: - WikiTest's popular Live Peek has been added, letting you live peek the information before your spectator has even finished typing. - The Earworm prediction pairing method for WikiTest inspired the predict-to-pair mechanism in Streets Pro. Xeno's no-typing style peek and QR code pairing mechanism. - Like in WikiTest, Streets Pro can flash NFC tags for pairing. WikiTest & Xeno's Touch To Peek has been updated with new modes. Streets Pro also introduces some new features, including an adaptive Peek Screen: the most advanced peek screen ever in a magic app. This is a fully customisable display with multiple sources of information which adapts depending on relevance, including a minimap, POI lookup, what3words support, a progessive anagram generator, and much, much more. Download Streets Pro from the App Store here, on sale for a limited time: https://apple.co/3vb7ovc Download Streets Pro from the App Store Thanks!
I make magic apps, such as WikiTest, Earworm, ISO, Inertia Pro and Xeno.

Hello marc,
great idea to get into the trick and the spectator "to the right place"... brilliant! and I like too that it's a two-phase routine. it gets away with that typical "do it again" reflex from the spectators after a short one-phase effect. and if you end clean, you cannot replay it so easily... few questions I have: 1. even the app has to run on my iphone, the spectator's phone can be an android? and will it look as good? or a bit different in any point (address bar)...? 2. if the answer to 1. is "yes": could the spectator even use a desktop computer or a tablet? 3. which way you send the link to the spectator? email, fb-messenger, whatever? thank you! But it still will work. 2. It is designed to be on mobile. It doesn't look right on a computer. It would technically work but the site uses the mobile design. 3. You can text it to them or use a qr code. Most ways to send them a link would work. |

Do you have any specific questions about the app?

I don't want too much given away in the trailer and the higher price point keeps it for just a core audience of serious practitioners. This is a focussed app for the professional magician in mind and I'd rather let as many of the secret ingredients be kept as quiet as possible. With Marc's pristine track record, I don't think you need to worry about the ingenuity and quality of this app. But if Marc's reputation isn't enough; I as an end user can assure you this is by far the most advanced and precision made app that's ever existed for the Magic community. Not so long ago, tricks were marketed in magazines with a short paragraph of text. Something like Streets Pro would have been sold as "Read your spectators mind and reveal any location in the world. You can do it on their phone. The end." I feel that we've been given more than enough info with what Marc's shared with us already and if it's still not enough to make you pull the trigger, then that's ok. It's a bit of a shame that Marc's released this because it's so bloody advanced and I feel it'll be lost on some people. But hey ho, it is what it is. And what it is, is !@#$%^& brilliant. |

I commented this in the other thread asking how this compares to the Streets found in Amalgam, but I figured I’d post it here too.
I have both the Amalgam version of Streets and Streets Pro, and I think they both have their uses. Streets Pros definitely has more features. Marc has crammed a TON of different modes into this. What’s nice about this is everything is done on the spectators phone. You never have to touch it and it can be done remotely. He’s come up with a great way to get into the effect that justifies the method. There’s also a really clever feature that means that you will end clean, no matter if you forget to do a secret step at the end. If you have any of Marc’s other apps, you’ll already be familiar with some of the input methods being used here. You can really tell a lot of thought was put into this project. Also, for the first time, Marc has included video instructions. He does state that the video is more of an overview rather than a replacement for the written instructions, as the written instructions he can update easily as he adds more features to the app in the future. But for those of you who like to see what’s going on, the video is a great place to begin. One of the coolest features is the anagram feature. I’ve never used anagrams before, and Marc has set this up in a very easy way to dive into using them without the fear of messing up. All in all this app is well worth the price and highly recommended!

Any chance of seeing a full performance? Product info describes a two-phase routine.

Took the words out of my mouth. Where’s the full performance? Is the mapping via a website? If so isn’t that very unusual?

I think it’s very natural to go to google maps.

You send them a justified link. Which opens in a web browser. Then they end up in the real google maps app by the end of the performance.

So on their phone, can the spec discern that they’re on a website as opposed to the actual app? The reason I ask is if by the end of the performance they end up in the real app, if they knew they started off on a webpage, they’ll wonder how they wound up in the app at the end. Just thinking out loud

Can be any place in the world selected, or is it limited to a (motivated) specific place? The name of the streets are in English format only, or it depends on the country, or it can be customized? Could be done in any language, I mean, the name of the streets are legit or "translated"?

Ok this looks fantastic. I’ve bought a few of Marks apps before and they are all phenomenal. Just need to payday and then I’m going to 100% snap this up.
