Well done on th gig Mugician51. I'm a bit late to this thread as you've already done it, but I would have advised you to just go with the flow.

I never have sets, I just read the audience and see what they like. I find it works much better that way and I seem to have a knack of remembering who I've performed to before.

I think it's interesting that you, "Had heard" that you needed 12 tricks but you ended up doing only 4 or so.

I think there's an important lesson. In practical table-hopping situations you'll only need 4 tricks. So pick out (with trial and error) 4 really good ones and routine them until they become unique reputation makers for yourself.
