So if you performed a chop cup routine you wouldn’t let them examine the props, or a rope trick. I think you are missing out.
I have no problem at all letting them examine the props, when I want them to.
Regarding stopping the flow if I am at a paid gig every time I perform a trick there will be something different in it, many of my funniest lines have been when somebody has interrupted me. I know my routines so well I can stop and start whenever, obviously there are points in a routine where you wouldn’t want to be interrupted but that’s down to to audience management and and keeping them entertained.
I feel part of my job is to interact with them and if it helps them enjoy it more surely that’s a good thing.
I find it amazing when somebody says I never let them examine the props.
In the zoltan routine whichever method there is some part that won’t be examinable, would that bother me of course not I have many tricks that are not examinable but I still perform them.

So if you are using a drawer box you would let them examine? Or a invisible deck? How about a shell coin? I try to be consistent with all my props. I don't let them examine any prop period. Some people may want to let people examine but I don't. To each his own I guess. Its always worked for me and keeps them guessing.

All down to some props can't be examined simple as that,audience management, straight out with something else or move on keeping patter going,are they going to be rude and ask you again 'can I examine?. If I have something that can be examined, I don't shout out HERE have a look at it all,No I present it in a way where they won't ask as I have subtly shown everything and if they ask then, go ahead.Some stuff is examinable,some is not,does it make you a rubbish Magician?, NO course it doesn't.

I got mine the other day and well, this is awesome. I work bars and this gives me the freedom of doing a quick routine to a longer one. Very important detail when working in a bar environment. Love it. I also found a plastic box to house my deck when not in use. Thanks for sharing Peter.

So this is a mystery - every fingerprint of this product seems removed from Alakazam.

Sold out??? I honestly doubt it.

Let me be clear that I have no added info but based on my own creator knowledge I'm educatedly guessing that there was some (IP) intellectual property used that was perhaps not licensed by whomever owns the ZOLTAR likeness or name. They may have received a cease & desist letter - and typically you are asked to do cleanup on aisle 8 by removing all traces of the product everywhere.

I have tangled with IP lawyers myself with our SVEN NOTES products that were too close in design/name to the POST-ITS from 3M and we made changes 3 years ago, including on the brown paper back design. This can get very expensive very quickly unless you are licensed.

"Sold out" after a few weeks on market... um, I'm not buying today, especially with what seems like a scrubbing. Even on FB Luca's touting of the product the comments were shut off.
