A NEW version of a classic with a totally different method to force any number easily and clearly. PLUS, the prediction is given by the spectator!
With this special notebook you can: * Make a spectator FREELY choose a word, celebrity, place in the world or the serial number of one of their bills and match the result of the sum of numbers chosen by other different spectators. * Steal personal DATA (PIN, birthday, phone number) * FORCE any small or large number in a simple and indecipherable way. The change happens in the spectator hands without them noticing. You don't have to do anything since the device does it by itself. https://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=69899 It is simple, narrow and looks like a regular notebook. You can reload it as many times as you want with standard post-its. |

Wish there was a full performance, but I have yet to be let down by any of JOTA or Juan Pablo's stuff so color me interested. Looks sleek.

Gonna redact what I said you can see a full sped up performance in the demo. Looks nice and clean to me so far.

When it originally came out it got a bit of a bagging here. I bought it and still use it for a particular routine, I like it a lot. It fits post-it-notes well, so for me, doesn't look out of place at all as there is a reason to bring it into play to write.
I'm just wondering how different this is to the original, what improvements have been made etc. Hopefully one of the people in the know come on to talk more about it. |

I guess as long as you get a volunteer who can do math. Most people would likely want to just use their phone calculator.

Is the material a plastic material or a paper/cardboard material?

This may be an amatuer question and stupid but I want to be sure. So when the numbers are written in the person adding them up can't call out loud each number can they?

I'd assume not, as this follows the traditional 'add a number pad' technique.
I'd also like to know how durable the material is. |

If you are using this just as a add a number pad then great, but if you are considering adding the bill/note for the switch then depending on the currency (if paper or plastic money), you will have to be careful.

How does this compare to Scott Alexander’s Bias Pad? Are there differences, besides price?

Nique always does great reviews. Probably my favorite reviewer.
I’m not sure if was mentioned, perhaps I missed it…but this pad “locks” in some way so you hand it to your volunteer in a closed state and they can only open it one way, the way you need them to, correct? Which brings up one small suggestion for Nique…it would be nice if you threw up some quick titles to reinforce important points. They are easy to miss when spoken as let’s face it we are all usually multi-tasking and sometimes an important just doesn’t fully register on your brain even if you hear it. But if you can SEE it as well then it really helps drive home the point. Also, you can go back and scan through the video and see a key point you may be looking for, which is impossible if it is only spoken. Anyway, just a suggestion to Nique and all reviewers. Oh, and also, thanks to Nique for not showing the effect’s trailer at the beginning of his reviews. We’ve all seen the trailer, that’s why we are interested in hearing your review. Whenever a reviewer begins with showing the trailer (cough***DavidKinney***cough) it always makes me feel like they are more interested in advertising and selling the product than honestly reviewing it. I'm aware that this is probably not a prop to have examined closely, but can someone confirm please that when the pad is handed for a spectator to total the numbers they naturally open it as it needs to be opened, or do you have to hand it to them open?

You can give it to them orientated the correct way which they naturally would open it up the way you want them to. But the addd feature of the gimmick side in a way locking is a bonus for reassurance.

You say “in a way locking” but I’m not sure what that means. I understand giving it to them in the correct orientation and that covers 98% of the time, but they could drop it or get distracted momentarily or whatever, so I’m just curious if it actually locks. |

If you watch Nique’s review at 3:30 you can see it displaying it open, this is how it would look and handle when the spectator handles it.
