I just watched a video of a guy performing with Joel Dickinson's 'FAB BOARD' he ends by producing the chosen item (a pear) from a sealed can of fruit cocktail. The CAN had a ring-pull, anyone know how to re-seal cans like this?

Here's the answer to my own (admittedly stupid) question.
The ring-pull end of the food can is left intact. The bottom end is opened with a regular can opener, cleaned and your chosen contents inserted. The bottom end is then re-sealed by any means you choose, it doe not really matter as the can IS NOT examinable by the volunteer.

There are can openers that neatly cut around one end of the can leaving smooth edges, as opposed to the old style that leaves jagged edges. That way you could probably epoxy the cut end without having it be noticeable.

But the glue would still be noticeable. I have worked with epoxy a lot.
But if you can find a smooth and quick way to reseal cans, you can help hobos and homeless people eat for free right in the store, hehe. |

Wasn't there a can on the market years ago that was built like a "bill tube" ?
Yes, it was called Can Of Corn (by Collector's Workshop). I just had to look it up. https://www.martinsmagic.com/allmagic/st......orkshop/ Viking Magic (which now owns the Collector's Workshop line) has a version called Can of Chips (or Can of Peanuts). https://vikingmagic.com/products/can-o-peanuts |

Can you convert any can into a stash can? The goal is to have the audience member open the can with a can opener.
