I am looking for a good spirit lamp or light whatever you wish to call it. Tim Wisseman is building some but will be a while before they are ready at which time I will purchase one from him. However in the meantime I have contacted Mooreni Magic to see when I could possibly purchase one from him I am waiting on an answer. Do any of you know or can point me in a direction of any other lamps that are built along the lines of these two mentioned. I am not interested in lights that blink yes or no but rather reveal a spirit is present.
Thanks in advance Gerald

Pete McMillian makes one. Spiritus Dictum Artifacts. Nice piece of kit. Hopefully he will chime in as he is on the Café I believe.

Tim Wisseman makes a great one and he is fantastic to work with. Check out some of his creations on his site:

Thanks gents I am familiar with those mentioned I am a great fan of Tim's and collect his effects and will purchase his FireFly when it comes available. I also like Mooreni's work and have contacted him am waiting on reply. I am more interested in their style of lamps or light's. No switches for sitters to wonder about. However those you mentioned are very nice just not exactly what I am looking for.

Sent you an email, Gerald. If you have not found the type you are looking for among the excellent versions already on the market, I'm quite sure we can build you a customized RF controlled spirit lamp with a thin base.

Very pretty! It owes its inspiration to Lebanon Circle, I believe.

No, I didn't take inspiration from anyone. I cobbled together this device in 2013. I have a whole series of devices like the old haunted doorbell, the haunted pendulum, the magic mirror, the door knocker from Borley Priory etc. All these devices (except the pendulum) are simple to make. For the lamp, the radio receiver comes from a miniature remote-controlled car. At that time I did not know Aliexpress

I think your spirit lamp is lovely, and I admire your DIY handicraft. I particularly like your use of electrode plates. I hope you will share more of your work as I enjoy seeing what people are making and using as well as knowing what products are commercially available.
Dan Baines sold spirit lamps and/or buzzers around 1999; one is pictured here: https://www.lebanoncircle.co.uk/pages/about-us I hope you will appreciate why I assumed you were familiar with his work. Best wishes |

I am starting build on Dan's Spirit buzzer however making it a spirit lamp. Very easy build after you round up needed materials which are easy to find and not expensive.
