Thanks, Zack |

Do a search for "Impulse Change" as there's a thread in Secret Sessions that discusses where to find and learn it.

Hello Zackary- Are r you referring to the shuffle Wilson does with the view from under the table? If so, it's a push through shuffle with a sequence of false cuts including up the ladder.
hope that helps, JW |

The full deck control in question is the pull through shuffle. A nice description can be found in Card College.
The name for the impulse change is reversed with the Zap Change on the Shade website. But the impulse change is the one where a card is put and left protruding face up in the center of the deck, after a wave, the card is shown to have changed, while the Zap change is the one with the fan of five cards Nevertheless, the Impulse change can be found in Jack Carpenter's Modus Operandi, under "impulsive premonition" The Zap change can be found in Marlo's acrobatice aces booklet, it is the last item in there, but is not titled as the zap change... hope that helps... Ted,
Are you sure about "implusive premonition"? I just had a look in my M.O. book, and there is no mention of the move in there. -= Mike |

What's the name of the change where he flicks through the indices of his hand and they change to a royal flush? And where can I learn it?

Hi meilechi,
Its called the Impulse Change and apparently it uses a well known set of gaffed cards. It is a one packet trick apparently and many people believe it is not really worth it. Try this thread. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......=2&9 Regards, Paul H |

The "Impulse Change" belongs to Jack Carpenter and can be found in The Expert's Portfolio No. 1. The confusion is caused by the fact that the video you see when clicking "The Zap Change" is actually a demonstration of Carpenter's impulse change; the video you see when clicking "The Impulse Change" is actually "The Zap Change," a ripped-off version of the Koch trick. |
