There are no images of the exact coins you get in this set on the internet, as the image on Penguin's site is from Tango's version. So I took a risk, hoping that this set would work out well for the price. But if it didn't, I could at least re-purpose the materials and let other shoppers know about the product. The half dollar is made from a real half dollar and looks great, the Chinese coin looks fine as well. The card is made from a split Bicycle and is constructed well. The mechanics work very consistently, if maybe a little loud. You do not get a wallet with the set. My issue with this set is with the half dollar. It's not a turtle, like I was expecting. So at the beginning of the trick, you cannot show the Chinese coin in the typical way, i.e. through the wallet/on top the wallet. The hole of the Chinese coin is very important for Lethal Tender. So although you can accomplish the effect in the product's description, you have to adjust the handling to accomplish the traditional transpo. And I'd argue the adjusted handling is less fair. Ultimately, I think the quality/machining of the set is worth $15, but it's design is what holds it back. YMMV. Roy Kuepper's version is $40, if you wanted a "buy one and done" option. Shin Lim's 52 Shades of Red gimmicks are $20 for a 20 pack, if you want to use your own coins and cards. Penguin does sell a plastic wallet for .$80. |

The Airship Magic version comes with a TCC leather wallet, and they have silver ones as well. Standard is $36. https://airshipmagic.com/store/home/301-......der.html

Any Lethal Tender out there is a rip off if it's not made by my brother, barring of course very very early Sterling Magic. But even then, with Sterling, you received their routine, NOT Steve's. And yes
there is a difference in routining. I can tell this much by the photo, the Chinese coin is plated aluminum, and the Kennedy half in the picture is a Normal Kennedy.
