How different is this from ParaLabs Picture Testing Cards?

So he's taken the time to proclaim:
1. The who's who of magic adores this life changing concept. 2. There are no markings, no sleight of hand, so easy a normal human can learn it in 10 minutes. 3. There's nothing to hide. 4. It's a masterclass in mentalism. I have one simple question: what is the effect? If there's nothing to hide, show me the trick. Is this a stop trick? If it's many tricks, just show me one. Do the spectators really shuffle the cards? Do the spectators count the cards? Is it all done in the magician's hands? All basic stuff that would be answered if he gave a demo. No offense to the review but that didn't add any clarity as to what transpires. This seems to be a stack but I honestly don't care about method. I simply want to know what the effect is. "Pick a card (whether it be ABC cards or playing cards) and I'll tell you what you picked" is a ridiculously broad category of magic. So if you're going to release something new within this category of card magic, you've got to be more precise as to what happens. High five to anyone who can post a performance.

Got to admit after reading through the posts on this, kinda feel I am going to be disappionted with it, I like the drawing premise prediction of this, but I can do that with short and long, stacked and a double backer,ok not examinable and there is way I know with two spectators using a stacked deck you can get both and is examinable, thought possibly something new? so will find out Christmas Day and at £35 mmmm.

This reminds me in some ways of the Osterlind Design Duplication system but with ABC cards.

I like it, I grabbed it. It's a tool for many effects. Disarming, charming ("I just love the designs of these, I had to steal them from my kid 'cause they're so cute. She always started answering me before I'd show her the card and we'd always giggle as I'd frantically search for the card fast so she could be right. Anyway, what I find interesting...") and completely examinable.
I love Paralabs cards, SNAPs, but I'm gonna love these, too. They're tools, and have their place depending on what you wanna do. Good stuff. |

Yes A B See is exactly that - a tool to use and craft in a way that suits.

Is CAN be a top trick, it CAN be a pick a card trick it can be done in your hands, their hands, one spectator or multiple, one selection or multiple. It’s endless. But at the end of the day the effect is you will connect with the image they thought of or cut to or chose and be well set up to do a strong cold reading . And that’s what we showed in the trailer. That said I was on the podcasts “all access magic” and “deckin around” in the last week and did a full performance on each of those interviews. Just fast forward until I’m holding flash cards in my hand and start there 😊. You’ll see one of many many many options |

Really excited to get my hands on these, and I can’t wait to see what the community comes up with! Any chance of there being a Facebook group to share ideas after they’re released??

A layman had this down in 10 minutes, literally. This is exactly why we didn’t put the full performance in the trailer. We knew people would immediately assume it’s a complicated memory thing. It really isn’t. It does involve SOME memory but anyone I’ve shown it to had it down in less than 15 minutes. |

There’s a brand new concept that allows you to instantly know the card they chose with your head turned hidden in plain sight. It’s something that no laymen will ever see and no magician has seen yet. They can examine the deck forever, it can’t be found. But it allows for lightning fast information on their selection. “The most deceptive method of its kind” - Colin McLeod “An ingenious method that makes the whole thing work seamlessly” - Richard Sanders “My neighbour spent an hour staring at the cards and couldn’t see it, he got so frustrated, nobody will be able to see it” - Ryan Edwards (on all access magic) |
