Easy Money - Spencer Kennard
$34.95 https://www.murphysmagic.com/product.aspx?id=65753 The Hype: A classic of classics, Tom Burgoon's Power Pickpocket has been a powerful piece in the arsenal of many stage performers over the past few decades. With Tom's blessing, Spencer Kennard now brings you the next iteration in this solid piece of visual magic - with EASY MONEY. Not only can it recreate all the visual moments of the original, but it's also made with the close-up magician in mind - and to your average spectator, the easy money wallet passes off as an everyday regular wallet that can create powerful moments of visual magic! Make a wallet appear, vanish, transpose, and even be produced from the most unexpected places. It really seems like wallets are just coming out of nowhere! The video instructions cover everything you need to know about the wallet and covers routines that will satisfy both the amateur and professional magicians. It's fast, easy, fun and EASY! If you like visual magic that literally packs flat and plays big then Easy Money by Spencer Kennard is for you! Available in two colors, black and brown. My Take: I have been fortunate enough to see Tom Burgoon lecture several times. At one of his lectures, I bought his wallet. Over the years it has gone missing, so I am thrilled to see this item being offered once more to the magic community. If you are familiar with Tom, you will know that pretty everything he does is a hoot (right down to the sleeveless sports coat). And, admit it, you have played around with Tommy Toilet paper, haven't you? Spencer Kennard has released his version of this great prop. Lying on the table, this can easily pass for a real wallet. In a little more than an hour, you are taught a pile of routines. Javier Fuenmayor (who has pretty much become the face of Murphy's for instructional videos) does his usual superb job of teaching, making sure that all angles are shown, things to looks out for, angles, etc. Which Hand - It is your spectator's job to guess which had a coin is in. You put both hands out in front and you can even have them hold your wrist. Right or wrong, the coin is shown in one hand and a wallet appears in the other even though it is way to big to palm. You are taught eight routines. Wallet Coin - A coin in your hand changes places with the wallet in your pocket. Wallet Through Table - After doing coin through table a couple of times, you show the wallet and put it under the table. It instantly appears in the other hand above the table. The visual on this routine is eye-popping. Sharpay - Recycles an old coin routine where a coin is thrown out from a Sharpie. This replaces the coin with a wallet. Very visual. Coin-Gag - The wallet is twisted and coins fall out. This is probably the easiest coin palm ever and you can use a huge load of coins. Wallet 3 - Pull out your wallet and make another wallet appear from it. Take out some bills and make a third wallet appear between the bills. Quantum Fold - You are actually going to pull a regular credit card out from a folded up wallet. Hidden Pocket - You are wearing a shirt with no pockets but you are able to pull a wallet out of a non-existant pocket. The video finishes with some extra ideas and tips. Conclusions: Burgoon's wallet was made strictly for comedy on stage where you "steal" a spectator's wallet then put it back into their pocket. Great trick but don't get too close because it doesn't look like a real wallet up close. This one does. It cannot be examined but it looks real from a fairly close range. Spencer has made a utility prop here that you will be happy to carry. I would use it more for comedy than for a serious act. Take it to a restaurant and destroy the waitress when you receive your bill. This has the potential to be simply a lot of fun. It won't be for everyone as the angles have to be watched and you will have to get used to the feel of the gimmick but learn it and you will have a keeper. |

I received mine today. I agree with you.
I have the black one. I used a black marker to make the inside white piece black so it matches. Now it is not easy to notice. |

A few people have commented on the folds showing after a few uses? Any feedback?

To perform the Wallet 3 effect where you produce a wallet twice, do I need to purchase two of the Easy Money wallets?
Thanks! |

I plan on using my one dollar bills (after changing them to a $2 bill then back to the $1 dollar bills) to reproduce the wallet so I can put the bills away.
