This was recommended on here purely for the marking system!
I was lucky enough to get a copy of this (it will be available real soon from Murphy’s Magic) and spent a while reading through it before I thought I would attempt it (I also thought - surely it can’t be that easy) The card marking took about 10 minutes and when I was finished, I still doubted it. I tried a quick effect on my biggest critic (my wife) and she didn’t guess what I had done. I tried a few things on friends (some magical some not) and they were floored at the accuracy my readings had to the card they had chosen The next big test was a corporate gig I was booked for. I use RWs when working professionally anyway so I slipped my two marked decks (one normal size and one jumbo) into my case and thought would try them at some point. Needless to say, I used them all night and even did a reading for the CEO that has resulted in a private booking. I can’t give anything away as to the marking system but I usually require glasses to read but I don’t with this. It is super easy to do (even for someone as creatively challenged as me), easy to read and you most likely have what is required already at home. I would give this a 5/5 rating purely on the marking system and resources section. One point to mention is this is for the Rider-Waite plaid back cards (they are available on Amazon UK) Approximately $25 |

Heads up: the Rider-Waite Readers ebook is now available from your favorite dealer (distributed by Murphys Magic).
For those who prefer their books in nonvirtual form, it's also available as a softcover from Chicago brick-and-mortar shops Magic Inc. and Midwest Magic.

I like this book a lot. The marking system is simple and it's an easy DIY. I also like the mnemonic system for the majors--it's been very helpful.
