Is it correct that only the Plus version allows you to do the card to wallet? Since the Plus version is only slightly larger (1cm or so) than the regular version, is there any practical benefit in getting the regular version when the Plus version costs the same?
Thank you. Michael

My understanding from the multiple reviews i’ve seen is that both wallets have the exact same features. So both can in theory do card to wallet. It’s just easier with the plus because of the slightly wider opening. But if you never use cards, the regular size might be more to your liking if you only plan to use business cards/billets.

Something that helps with the breaking in of the leather is to stick a pen in the spine and rubber band it shut. At least that seems to work for me

That’s a good tip and I agree it works nicely.
One thing I forgot to mention is that I am also having a problem with the palmed card getting stuck on the bottom edge of the load chamber. Hard to explain but it essentially gets hung up with about a half inch of the card left to be loaded. U can force it in but I haven’t played with it enough to know if that issue will resolve itself over time. Again, I love palming and have loaded more than my share of wallets over the last 35 yrs but I don’t plan to use this wallet for CTW. So not a deal breaker for me but I did at least want to point out these issues because I’n sure many folks will be interested in this wallet primarily for that feature. If you are in that camp, I can think of at least 8-9 wallets that are easier to load. |

Even the Orphic+ doesn't seem particularly smooth for c2w. It's still a little tight. But then I only really bought it for the peek. From what Lewis has said, it seems like the c2w feature was a sort of happy accident when magicians pointed out it could be used in that way. It certainly doesn't seem like the primary function. I think if that's what you're looking for you'd be better sticking with wallets like the FPS, Speedloader and such.

That's a great pity regards the loading of the Orphic plus for the CTW feature, I must admit I didn't think 1cm would make much difference.
This is why I prefer to wait for the real reviews to come in rather than rely on review shows alone. |

I love this wallet, too. I went with the Orphic Plus. This is now my EDC... I am so pleased with this purchase. The 1914 is definitely putting out quality products with top-shelf materials. Their teaching on the tutorials is world-class... packed with good info!

I can put a playing card in the standard Orphic so it seems strange that some are struggling with the plus.
Admittedly with the standard it’s then difficult to remove from the inside but I didn’t buy it for that purpose. I can only imagine it’s a stitching issue as maybe although the plus is 1cm wider the wrap round leather stitching area may also be wider so as it returns on itself that is reducing that 1cm on the inners. A poker card should fit in the slot with ease on the plus imo, based on my experience with the standard Gaz.😊 |

Don't know if this has been posted here yet but Lloyd Barnes uses the Orphic wallet in a wife test for a fantastic and simple impossible location (transportation?) + TNR.
